Titanfall missed-out on sales from numerous gamers who only had a Sony PlayStation 4 console and many of them?instinctively thought that the developers were just being greedy thinking that?they were?heavily paid by Microsoft, but it seems that it was only the way the game could have been released.
?I felt we needed to do it,? Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella tweeted in response to a fan who accused Respawn as being greedy developers. ?We were a small team starting from scratch. Not greed, it limited our market. + chance to finish.?
As Respawn was established by the co-founders of Infinity Ward, the guys that created the Call of Duty Modern Warfare franchise, many fans felt alienated that Titanfall didn?t come out to all current gen platforms. He however plans to address this problem.
Zampella said they want as much possible people to play their games, hence, Titanfall will be released on more platforms. ?We want as many as possible to play our games!?
Single Player for Titanfall 2?
Not much news regarding the Titanfall sequel has been disclosed even as the game has long started development, Gameranx reported.
We however know that Respawn Entertainment has loudly heard the roar of players who demand for Titanfall 2 to include a single player campaign.
?We?ve definitely heard the feedback,? Studio Community Manager Abbie Heppe said last year as reported by Express.
Heppe said Respawn has already well-established the core and engine for Titanfall.
?We have assets, we have an engine, we have all of these things that we laid the foundation for in the first game that we can really build off of in the second,? he said. ?So I think there?s going to be a lot of stuff that people are going to be excited about.?
Titanfall will release on either the latter of 2016 or anytime in 2017. The game will come out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
