Scenes for Thor: Ragnarok are currently in the works in Australia. Many of our favourite actors appear from time to time. It surely excites fans to see some of the well-loved actors in their respective roles. But it looks like the best news of all is that a classic Marvel character will be back for the film.
This character that we are referring to had an unclear fate at the end of Thor: The Dark World. Since it has been confirmed through a photo that had circulated online that he will be part of the movie, fans can not wait to see a new Odin.
Of all the photos we have seen so far, one of our favourites is the one that shows Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin. The picture was captured by Glen Hunt. He is a professional photographer in Brisbane, Australia. He was hired to make a documentation of the production of Thor: Ragnarok.
In the photo, Sir Anthony was shown in a goofy state. It indeed was a funny photo. But what really brings smiles to the faces of most fans is the visible verification that Odin will surely be seen in the film.
Marvel made no official confirmation yet if Hopkins will be part of Thor: Ragnarok. But although this has not yet happened, we can keep our hopes up with the photo that we have seen.
Loki was able to make it on the throne of Asgard when Thor: The Dark World ended. He was actually impersonating Odin. No one knows what really happened to Odin. But if there is one thing that we can all be assured about, it is the fact that he is not dead. Loki did not kill his father to get his position.
There are speculations circulating around for several months now that Odin will be seen in Thor: Ragnarok as a homeless man. He could be a helpless man on the street preaching that the world is coming to an end. As we look at the photo of Hopkins, it looks like the speculations could be true.
If you haven?t seen the photo yet, check it out here.
