In all the films that Marvel has churned throughout the years, Loki has been regarded as the only decent and compelling villain that Marvel has offered, however, the trickster might not make an appearance in Thor 3 Ragnarok. The actor himself, Tom Hiddleston, has voiced out his qualms that fans might no longer want to see Loki again in the Marvel universe.
However, this doesn?t looks to be the case as Loki might have a big role to fulfill in Thor 3 as he has revealed his supposed appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron. ?I was part of the dream sequence for Thor in the film,? Hiddleston told Digital Spy per Comicbook. ?But in test screenings, audiences had over-emphasized Loki?s role; they thought that Loki was controlling Ultron. It was imbalancing audience?s expectations.?
The latest standalone movie of the God of Thunder is said to be focusing on a colossal fight in Agard especially with Thanos being heavily rumored to wreak havoc in his goals to acquire an Infinity Stone. The focus on Agard opens the possibility for more gods to be introduced and Thor?s brother T?r is said to make his entrance in the film.
Rumors are hot that T?r will be introduced in the film, Youth Health Mag stated. According to Movie Pilot, T?r is the God of War who is also Thor?s half-brother. He has also rebelled against his father, just like Loki, Movie Pilot said.
Every Thor standalone movie has been helmed by different directors. This time, it?s going to be from Taika Waititi, a man known for working on Shadows and Eagle Vs. Shark, Empire Online reported. Waititi is also working for the upcoming Disney animated film Moana, the report said.
Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to release in theaters on July 28, 2017.
