The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be making its first public debut at this year?s San Diego Comic-Con according to CD Projekt Red?s announcement. The debut will be at The Witcher Panel.
The panel is scheduled to be an hour long and will feature the voice of protagonist Geralt, Doug Cockle. Paul Tobin, writer of The Witcher: House of Glass will also be in attendance together with Nick McWhorter of Dark Horse as well as franchise director Rafal Jaki. Spike TV GTTV host Geoff Keighley will also be joining the event. The panel is scheduled for Thursday, July 24 at 10 AM.
Jaki will not only be joining the first panel but will also be present in the second one named The Art of the Game Panel on Friday, July 25 at 4 PM. Witcher panel fans in attendance will be able to receive a limited edition postcard which features work from Simon Bisley.
There will be additional events that will be held at the Geek & Sundry Consumer Lounge at Jolt?n Joe?s Gaslamp. For starters, starting on July 24, The Witcher trivia will kick off at 2:30 PM. On July 25, there will be a sneak peek of The Witcher Adventure game at 10 AM. Directly after that will be a live demo of The Witcher 3 that starts at 11 AM.
Jaki has mentioned that they want to be able to interact and reach as many Witcher fans as possible saying: ?Since this is the first Comic-Con for Geralt of Rivia, we’re going the extra mile to talk to as many Witcher fans as possible, at as many places as possible.? He also added: ?It’s a real pleasure to see The Witcher among all those comic book and movie characters we know and love.”
Comic-Con is a non-profit educational corporation that is dedicated to creating awareness and appreciation for comic books. Lots of people come each year to check out not only comic books but other things as well such as games that are based on comic books.
