The Walking Dead Season 7

Season 7 of AMC?s The Walking Dead is the most talked about television show this ?fall as fans continue to speculate which of the characters would be meeting their fate at the hands of Lucille.

As you may recall, April?s Season 6 finale, ?Last Day on Earth,? ended with Rick Grimes and 10 other survivors captured and brought before Negan, the terrifying leader of the Saviors. Negan decided to punish Rick and Co by beating one of their members to death using his barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat called ?Lucille? but the thrashing was seen from the POV of the victim, leaving viewers clueless as to who died.

Since then, we have seen or rather heard or read various theories emerge as to who was the victim among Rick?s party which includes his son Carl, Daryl, Michonne, Glenn, Abraham, Sasha, Eugene, Aaron, Rosita and a very pregnant Maggie.

The latest rumor that emerged from one of the popular fans pages, The Spoiling Dead, will leave you even more horrified. While so far, people are talking about a single victim at the hands of Lucille, similar to what was witnessed in the comics, the fan page shared that we might, in fact, see two victims from Negan?s beating. The Spoiling Dead speculated that Abe will be the first one to be killed and followed by Glenn. And, it appears Daryl will be taken hostage by Negan after he apparently tries to interfere in the beating of Abe. Still, it seems highly unlikely that Negan may kill two members of Rick?s gang simultaneously since he promised to kill just one of them.

On the other hand, the show has been known for the brutal death of its characters so it certainly would make perfect sense, since killing Glenn off right after teasing his death in the mid-season wouldn?t have the desired effect. A two character death will play perfectly into the show?s pattern. In addition, The Spoiling Dead is known for its accurate predictions as previously, AMC had even issued a cease and desist letter pertaining specifically to the Season 6 finale.

The rumors so far have Glenn and Abe at the top of Lucille?s victim list but another rumor is also suggesting that Maggie could be the one who will be bludgeoned to death. This rumor emerged via TVGuide, which said that Lauren Cohen, who plays Maggie, has been posting content on her social media accounts from different locations while the new season is filming. One of her posts on Instagram showed her at a beach in May while the show was filming in Atlanta, hundreds of miles away from the ocean.

One thing is certain, it is not going to be Rick or Carl for sure as Negan warned before starting the vicious beatdown that: ?Anybody moves, anybody says anything – cut the boy?s other eye out and feed it to his father.?

The Season 7 will see plenty more of screen time for the new villain, Negan. AMC promoted four actors – Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Tom Payne, Austin Amelio and Xander Berkeley – to the series? regular cast members. While Morgan debuted as famed villain Negan, Payne is the new hero Jesus, Amelio plays Dwight, one of the Saviors with badly burnt skin, and Berkeley is Gregory, the shady leader of the Hilltop Colony.

The Walking Dead Season 7 returns to AMC sometime in mid-October possibly on Sunday, October 16. Expect to hear more spoilers and catch the new trailer at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con.
