The Walking Dead Season 6

It seemed as though everyone?s favorite bow cross-wielding The Walking Dead character, Norman Reedus already hinted about the death of Pizza Boy Glenn in the newest season of AMC?s zombie drama ? a fact that fans of the show still can?t accept upto now.

According to website Comicbook.com, during the Walking Dead panel in last summer?s San Diego comic-con, cast members and producers discuss which characters they would bring back to the show if given the chance. While many reflect on Shane and Lori, Norman Reedus?bursts out from an apparent slumber in Melissa McBride’s lap to say, “Glenn!”

The reaction obviously took Greg Nicotero and Andrew Lincoln by surprise as though he just revealed something that was true. And as if to gloss over the statement, Nicotero?said, “Glenn is still alive.”

Glenn is alive

The debate of whether or not the Asian character is well or now zombie chow is still to be answered this coming Sunday, but we?ve got a few reasons to believe that he is alive.

  • First of all, our favorite pizza delivery guy can?t be dead because there?s a big chance it was Nicholas the zombies went after. Glenn after all fell beneath his body after Nicholas shot himself on the head.
  • Guts coming from the chest cavity? That can?t be. No, those are not Glenn?s guts. Those are Nic?s.
  • There was a dumpster among the zombie mess, and it can definitely mean that Glenn was able to crawl under and hide.
  • Glenn is the ultimate escapist ? this isn?t the first time Glenn has escaped death. For the past six seasons, we can tell you some really awesome instances when our favorite Asian survived not just zombies but the frigging plague! He?s got this one in the bag.
  • His death wasn?t announced in the weekly recap of who died, AN OBVIOUS SIGN. Steven Yeun (who plays Glenn) was not part of the panel, and he wasn?t even announced!
  • Glenn?s character hasn?t played the important role he was supposed to do as stated in the comics.
  • In an article with Variety, executive producer David Alpert laughed out questions about Glenn saying that ?we will find out? ? so haven?t we yet? He further states: ?I feel like, regardless of what happened to Glenn, he paid a tremendous price for having been human to Nicholas, and that, to me, from an emotional point-of-view ? whether or not Glenn is alive or dead or something else ? the Glenn that we knew, the one that believed in the better side of humanity, I think is dead.? Vague answer, and the Walking Dead has never been a fan of ambiguous deaths.

So what are your thoughts on this new revelation?
