After a break, “The Vampire Diaries” will be back with a new episode on December?3. Season 7 episode 8 titled “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me? has been delayed due to Thanksgiving. “The Vampire Diaries” next week’s all-new episode will be extreme where Stefan will find out that Caroline is carrying Alaric’s unborn twins.

Caroline and Stefan will face new challenges that may hurt their relationship as per the synopsis for the upcoming episode titled “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me” according to latinpost.com

Carter Matt reports, “As Julian (guest star Todd Lasance) and Lily (guest star Annie Wersching) throw a party to celebrate Mary Louise (guest star Teressa Liane) and Nora’s (guest star Scarlett Byrne) anniversary, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) set in motion a risky plan to eliminate a new threat posed by Julian. Meanwhile, following a major revelation uncovered by Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore), Caroline (Candice King) is forced to face her new reality, even as it threatens to destroy her relationship with Stefan.”

Though Caroline’s pregnancy may hurt her relationship with Stefan, it may also help her and Alaric form a stronger bond, which could explain how they ended up getting engaged in a flash-forward scene.

Though, Alaric and Caroline will get engaged, there may still be hope for “Steroline” as the couple may later run into trouble with their relationship.

“Yes, Alaric is the one who put the ring on Caroline’s finger, but that doesn’t mean they’re living happily ever after. In an upcoming flash-forward, we’ll see that perhaps everything isn’t perfect between the couple,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

?TVLine’s Ausiello?teased that the vampire drama will cast a new character named Alex, “describing him as being warm-until-crossed.” There will be introduction of a “mysterious organization” in the series that the untrustworthy character runs. Both “The Vampire Diaries” and its spinoff series “The Originals” will begin airing on Fridays, starting on Jan. 29, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
