The Raid director Gareth Evans recently tweeted that The Raid 3 may not appear in the big screen anytime soon

Hardcore action movie fans will probably like this recent update. No, I?m not talking about a new Bruce Willis movie or a Sylvester Stallone, I?m talking about The Raid 3.

Looks like the badass police officer Rama is going back to the big screen for another raid. Don?t get your hopes up though, news from screenrant suggests that the film won?t be happening anytime soon.

What is The Raid?

The Raid part 1 or The Raid: Redemption was first shown in cinemas in 2011. It is an action thriller movie like no other?possibly the only movies I can think of that stands close to this are Chocolate and the Ong Bak series. The story revolves around Rama (Iko Uwais), a member of Special Weapons And Tactics (or S.W.A.T) team assigned to take down a building full of killers, thugs and a mob boss. The plan was a huge fail and all of the other members were either trapped or killed inside that building.

The Raid 2 was the continuation of the last movie. Rama was given another task and this time, he will infiltrate another group of mobsters and take them down from the inside and uncover the corruption within his police force.

That is wonderful news for people who likes hardcore action movie. I myself really liked The Raid: Redemption and The Raid 2 and to be honest, this update from the director really made me excited. If you have a weak stomach or afraid of blood then this movie is not right for you.

The choreography was top-notch! This film made a few movies from Hollywood looked like kids having a slap contest A.K.A fighting.
