The Elder Scrolls Online features a pathway for players to become the Emperor via PVP, transformation to become a vampire or werewolf and methods on how to get married and reset skills and attributes.
How to Become an Emperor
Becoming the Emperor of Tamriel is not an easy task and can only be obtained through PVP combat in Cyrodiil. In order to get the title, an alliance must capture six keeps surrounding the Imperial City and once the keeps are under the control of a single faction, the player with the highest faction rating becomes the Emperor.
Being the Emperor brings special perks which can be useful during siege and even if you are dethroned, you still retain the weaker version of these perks.
-????????? Authority: Receive 200% ultimate gains and -5% ultimate costs. Previous emperors will only get the -5% ultimate costs.
-????????? Domination: Gain 100% health, magicka and stamina regeneration in combat while previous emperors will only retain 2%.
-????????? Emperor: Increased health, magicka and stamina by 100% while in your campaign but only 2% for former emperors.
-????????? Monarch: Increased magnitude of healing effects by 50% or 1% only for previous emperors.
-????????? Tactician: Siege weapon damage goes up by 100% and only 2% for former emperors.
How to Become a Vampire
You may desire to become a creature of the night and choose the life of being a vampire. For starters, you need to contract the disease to become a vampire and if you are werewolf or carrying that disease, vampirism won?t be possible.
- Find vampires in advanced level zones all over Tamriel having a crescent moon symbol. Get the vampire to bite you to contract vampirism and to enable the Scion of the Blood Matron quest. You can either become a full-pledged vampire or cure the disease after completing the quest line.
- Alternatively, you can have another player who is a vampire to bite you at the vampire ritual site to contact vampirism. A cool down period of seven days occurs between each bite.
Benefits of Vampirism
-????????? Stage 1: Fire damage weakness increased by 50%.
-????????? Stage 2: Fire damage weakness increased by 50%, -25% health regeneration, -20% health cost on vampire skills.
-????????? Stage 3: Fire damage weakness increased by 50%, -50% health regeneration, -40% health cost on vampire skills.
-????????? Stage 4: Fire damage weakness increased by 50%, -75% health regeneration, -60% health cost on vampire skills.
Feeding on human opponents will lower the stages of vampirism in order to reduce consequences of the disease.
How to Become a Werewolf
You can also become a werewolf by contracting Sanies Lupinus from werewolf attacks at advanced level zones and once you have the disease, the Hircine?s Gift quest line will begin. Same with vampirism, you can either become a full-pledged werewolf or cure the disease after completing the quest.
Unlike with vampires, you need to use the Werewolf Transformation ability to become a werewolf. Werewolves do not need to feed but requires ultimate points to take advantage of unique skills.
If you want to marry another player, you will need the Pledge of Mara item which can only be exhausted once.
Once you?ve obtained the Pledge of Mara, visit the Shrine of Mara located at all major starting cities controlled by three factions. Both players should stand next to the Shrine of Mara, select the Pledge of Mara in the quick-select menu and a prompt will appear asking if you want to take the ritual of Mara. Matrimonial rings thru this marriage grants +10% increased experience bonus.
Players can marry up to eight players per account while married characters cannot re-marry or file a divorce as the game doesn?t support it yet.
Resetting Skills and Attributes
For resetting skills and attributes, visit one of the three shrine areas inside the game which depends on your current faction. You simply have to donate gold in order to reset your skills and attributes. However, make sure your character is high enough or escorted by a high level character as the pathway to the shrines is dangerous.
