The Big Bang Theory Season 9 Spoilers: Amy & Sheldon Takes Relationship To The Next Level, Will This Mean Reconciliation?

Sheldon and Amy will finally get physical after more than five years of dating in the latest season of the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory.

The latest spoilers by US Weekly reveal that in the upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon and Amy dubbed as ?Shamy? finally consummate their love. It will be exciting twist as its been ages since Sheldon and Amy have been dating and they are yet to make a move which however will come true in the The Big Bang Theory episode that airs on December 17. Sheldon is sort of person who usually avoids physical contact and is most likely a virgin and same can be said of Amy. However, it remains to be seen how the two will reconcile with each other as they split in the last season when Amy told Sheldon that she needed time alone not knowing he had a ring and was meaning to propose her.

Following the shooting?of episode on November 17 ?the producers decided to announce this rather than risking leak as the?show is filmed in front of a live audience. According to the Mirror executive producer Steve Molaro in a statement said, ?After five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship. And we are so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes. ?

The episode will also feature Bob Newhart with his recurring portrayal as Arthur Jeffries aka Professor Proton says?Hollywood Reporter. He will help Sheldon sort out his feelings and make a very important decision by appearing in his dream as a Jedi. The Star Wars themed episode of The Big Bang Theory coincides with the release date of latest Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie.

The big moment of season nine in The Big Bang Theory was marriage of Leonard and Penny in the first episode. Their relationship seems to be going well for now and meanwhile Howard and Bernadette are planning to have a child.?The Big Bang Theory first premiered in 2007 and now airs Thursday night at 8 on CBS.
