Batman: Arkham Knight ?Batgirl: A Matter of Family? DLC

Players will be able to experience playing as Batgirl for the first time in the Arkham series as she attempts to rescue her father, Commissioner Gordon, who was held captive by the Joker. Batgirl will be unaided by Batman as one of the Joker?s sinister plans includes killing Gordon if Batman shows up. Just like Batman, Batgirl must rely on her wits, gadgets, and athleticism to overcome Gotham?s villains.

The DLC is made by WB Games Montreal, developer of Arkham Origins and will be released on July 14 for season pass holders and July 21 for those who wish to purchase the game separately.?Batman: Arkham Knight ?Batgirl: A Matter of Family? DLC?will only be released on PS4 and XBOX One as the PC version is still plagued by major technical issues.

God of War III: Remastered

Spraying pools of blood by ripping-off heads, and wrenching a sword inside enemies will look better than it did on the PS3 as God of Ware III: Remastered for PS4 will have a slight improvement on the graphics as the resolution has now been boosted to 1080p from the previous 720p. GOW3 will also have 60 frames per second which will enable smoother combat and dodging. New features for the God of War 3 Remaster includes a new photo mode as well as a new gauntlet you can equip called the Cestus.

The game pits the game’s protagonist, Kratos, in a fight against gods such as Hades and Zeus in order to end the reign of the Olympian Gods. God of War 3: Remastered will be exclusively available on the PS4 in July 14.

Become Godzilla and take down monsters in this Playstation exclusive game which will become available both on the PS3 and PS4 on July 14. Get to play as any monster to either ?destroy? or ?protect? the city. Legendary monsters can be used such as SpaceGodzilla, Super Mechagodzilla, and a giant moth monster called Motha. This visually stunning and serene game made by thatgamecompany will be making its appearance on the PS4 this July 21. Journey is about a tale of a robed-man who must traverse obstacles to arrive at the mountain that he/she sees in the distance. Players will get to meet another robed figure and together, must work hand-in-hand to reach their destination. Doing this however is different from conventional games as they must learn to communicate and help each other even without understanding what one other is saying because they can?only voice chimes.

The success of Journey for being the fastest selling game on the Playstation Network and reaping numerous awards proves that games do not need to employ violence in order to become successful and enjoyable. Merely sliding on the sand while gazing at the picturesque desert in view can be one of your unforgettable experiences in Journey. Even if?the game used incomprehensible dialogue among its characters, many people felt emotional about the game.

Users who already have a digital copy of the PS3 version will be provided a free upgrade to the PS4 version. The PS4 version will look more gorgeous than it already was as the game will be running in 1080p and will have a silky smooth 60 frames per second.

Just taking a glance at Trove will make you think of the many similarities it has with Minecraft. Everything looks blocky and pixelated. Building is also an integral part of the game. Trove however is not just a blatant copycat of Minecraft?as Trion, the developer of Rift, Defiance, and Arche Age, will be taking advantage of their MMO infrastructure for the game and has a included fast action play style for its voxel game.

Trove is only available on PC. They have recently launced?Trove on July 9.

King?s Quest

The King?s Quest that will be released on July 28 is a reboot that will have an episodic release similar to Telltales The Walking Dead series. Players will also be able to make decisions on how to approach the game which will inevitably cause various outcomes that will affect the story. The adventure game?s first episode will be titled King?s Quest: A Knight to remember. Purchasing this first episode will cost $10 while paying $40 will net you all 5 episodes of the game.

Fallout Shelter

We did tell you we?re listing games to last you until the blockbusters arrive. Although available only in iOS at the moment, the mobile game has made such a big impression among Fallout?fans that it has been consistently on top of Apple?s most downloadable applications. Not exactly a Fallout series, running a vault might just get you through until the rumored release of Fallout 4 in December.

Other notable games for July are the Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Worms Party Remastered, and Rise of Incarnates.

So there you have it. Everyone might be waiting for the release of various franchise series coming in the next months, but July is the best time to enjoy some of the best independent games this side of the gaming spectrum. Enjoy!
