Tekken 7 Release Date On PS4, Xbox One, And PC: Launch Date Possibly In February

By on

When Bandai announced their plans about the next Tekken installment, they mentioned that the Tekken 7 release date is going to take place in early 2017. As gamers eagerly wait for the launch, it seems like the official date of release has already leaked online.

An “early 2017” release is such a vague statement from Bandai. However, there are talks around the internet claiming that the launch will happen before March kicks off. According to a Reddit thread about Tekken 7, the title will hit the stores in February. It was based on the report of Swedish portal stating that the release is on the 12th of next month.

This claim was immediately supported by some Reddit users. On the same thread, a fan shared that he contacted his retailer in Belgium and it did confirm that he can pick up the game on February 14. Although it was two days late than what was previously reported, it still suggests that the launch next month is “confirmed”.

Moreover, a Steam listing saying a February 24 Tekken 7 release date was also spotted online. However, the Community Advisor for Tekken, Mark Julio has debunked this, saying it was only a placeholder date. It’s also worth noting however that he teased more informing will come out soon.

Now, the only thing gamers could do is wait for the official announcement from Bandai. It could include the official launch date of the title so be sure to stay tuned here on TheBitbag.

Meanwhile, other rumors suggest that the release could possibly take place in March. This is also a logical theory considering that Bandai mentioned about an “early 2017” release. Other claims state that it could possibly roll out in the second quarter of the year. With all of these rumors, it’s highly possible we’ll end up getting the game in the first quarter of 2017. But sadly, there is no way to confirm those rumors, so we’ll have to wait for Bandai’s official statement.

How about you? When do you think is the Tekken 7 release date? Are you also rooting for a February release? Or, do you think it would hit the stores some time in the second quarter of 2017? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
