Currently, the vanilla Tekken 7 version is out and has had a competitive scene since February last year. According to this Twitter post, Tekken 7 Fated Retribution will be showing up on Final Round, a fighting game tournament in Atlanta, Georgia. Tekken 7 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be part of the games, according to the player pools and brackets posted on the event page. The title?s gameplay mechanics is still unknown as Bandai Namco America?s YouTube channel isn?t currently focused on Tekken 7. With Dark Souls 3 nearing its release, Tekken 7 news may be unlikely due to the the company?s focus on FromSoftware?s game. Even the Japanese Bandai Namco YouTube channel is focused on the other games such as Tales of Berseria and their anime video game franchises.
Meanwhile, TekkenChannel doesn?t have any new content to show for the title as its latest video is the Rage Attack showcase clip. The latest character confirmed for Tekken 7: Fated Retribution is Nina Williams wearing a tattered wedding gown.
