?Switched At Birth? Season 5 Spoilers: Kennish Divorce Not Happening Based on Finale Title

By on

Switched At Birth Season 5 spoilers indicate that the John and Kathryn Kennish divorce is not happening as the finale title suggests.

The finale title is called, ?Long Live Love,? which could possibly be a good sign that no one is getting divorced in the family drama?s final season. There have been speculations that John (D.W. Moffett) and Kathryn (Lea Thompson) will push through with their divorce which is possibly the reason why Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) were forced to pack their bags and head home. But the finale title says otherwise and even hints of a happy ending. Although, it is still uncertain as to whose love or relationship/s the title is referring to.

The Season 4 finale ended with a mysterious phone call which seemed pretty urgent. The girls were trying to put their lives back together by living independently and getting a job in another country, but some alarming news urged them to go back home.

The call has been the biggest mystery going into the final season and in the premiere, we will most probably find out what it?s all about. The premiere is titled, ?The Call,? so we will pretty much get some answers by then.

As for the Kennish divorce, Christian Today reports that actor D.W. Moffett revealed via Twitter that he will be present throughout the entire duration of Season 5. This is good news for now as there are also rumors that John?s health and life will be at risk due to heart problems, which he suffered from last season. However, the actor did not reveal any more details about John?s condition and the status of his and Kathryn?s marriage.

Meanwhile, episode 2 of the final season titled, ?This Has To Do With Me,? will be directed by Moffett. Could the title be suggestive of something related to ?The Call? as well?

What do you think is the call all about? Will John and Kathryn push through with their divorce?

The Switched At Birth Season 5 premiere is slated this January 2017 on Freeform.
