Microsoft has remained silent on the matter of the Surface Phone release. The company has not released any statement regarding the device. However, there are lots of rumors on the internet about the specs and release date of the device. Recent reports suggest that the company could release the Surface Phone in March 2017.
The device will compete with Samsung?s rumored Galaxy S8 and Apple?s upcoming iPhone 7 Plus. Apple is supposed to release its much hyped iPhone 7 by the end of 2016. If the rumors are true, Apple is going to face a tough challenge. The Surface Phone is expected to be a super cool device with the top most hardware configuration.
One of the coolest features of Microsoft Surface Phones is Continuum. With Continuum, the user interface can adapt desktop or tablet mode automatically. When the device is connected to big screen, keyboard and mouse, the desktop mode activates while when the device is disconnected it?s switched to the tablet mode.
In the last month, Christian Daily reported that the Microsoft Surface Phone is expected to be powered by Intel Kaby Lake processor. The new processor will provide extreme boost to its performance. The handset is supposed to roll out in three variants. The high end device will be equipped with a massive 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
According to GottaBeMobile, iPhone 7 Plus is ?supposed to feature Apple A8 processor and 3GB of RAM and at most 256GB onboard storage.
Moreover, recent leaks indicate that iPhone 7 design would be exactly the same as iPhone 6. On the other hand, Microsoft Surface Phone is supposed to have an all metal body.
Apple?s iPhone 7 Plus is expected to feature a dual camera while Surface phone will feature ?a mighty 21MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens.
Microsoft Surface Phone will be better than iPhone 7 every aspect. The price of the devices is not clear yet. The top model of Microsoft Surface Phone will cost around $1099, and iPhone 7 will roll out with $1000 price tag.
