Microsoft stunned the crowd when they launched their new Surface Book last Tuesday at an event in New York. The technology company introduced their flagship device to everyone for the first time, which amazed them with its sleek, powerful, and innovative new design that will definitely tighten the competition between their rival Apple.
The Surface Book will be Microsoft?s first ever laptop which will mainly feature the removable screen that can also be used as a tablet together with Microsoft?s Surface Pen. The screen will have a 13.5-inch display with a pixel density of 267PPI which is optically bonded to the glass. To simply put, it?s going to look awesome.
The ultimate laptop from Microsoft will also have a full sized, backlit keyboard for quick and natural typing. Simplicity and high-performance is its main criteria, combining a 6th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processor with up to 16GB of memory which will also include an optional discrete graphics chip, shared by the Verge.
They will also include an Nvidia GeForce GPU with GDDR5 memory and two USB 3.0 ports and an SD card slot available for you. And according to the Verge, ?the machine is supposed to keep running for 12 hours on a single charge.? Microsoft also states that the Surface Pro will be ?the fastest 13-inch laptop ever made anywhere on any planet? and that it will actually ?twice as fast as the MacBook Pro.?
?Surface Book proves that innovation in personal computing is not just confined to Apple?s Cupertino campus. This is a highly innovative, flagship device that will act as a much needed halo product for Windows 10 and the broader PC market,? vice president of the Americas at research firm CCS Insight indicated according to the Guardian.
You can pre-order the new Microsoft Surface Book on October 7th. The flagship device will be available to everyone on October 26th with prices starting at $1,499.00
