Super Smash Bros Welcomes 3 New Characters: Newcomers Robin, Lucina, and Returning Captain Falcon

Super Smash Bros replenishes its character lineup with Robin, Lucina, and Captain Falcon

Nintendo?s hit game series Super Smash Bros will be treated with three new characters once its new version is released to the Wii U and 3DS consoles. Robin and Lucina are newcomers from Fire Emblem: Awakening, while Captain Falcon, present in previous versions, will return to the upcoming current-gen edition of the said game.

Nintendo has also released a video revealing the three new Super Smash Bros characters, exceeding fans? expectations as they previously promised only one new character to be introduced. Lucina and Robin hails from the Fire Emblem: Awakening game launched in January 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS. Captain Falcon first appeared on Nintendo 64 and has appeared in several Super Smash Bros series ever since.

The game and console maker also recently revealed that they are introducing classic character Pac-Man to their mascot fighting lineup. Pac-Man will join other playable Namco Bandai characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, and Mega Man.
