Super Mario Maker is arriving soon, and here are some of the costumes that you can unlock.
With Super Mario Maker becoming available in just a few days, it?s time to create your Super Mario levels and share it with your friends. It also features different templates from Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros. You have endless creative possibilities in creating your own levels, you can even get to try out some levels created by other players uploaded online.
Then of course there is another cool feature for Super Mario Maker where you can unlock certain costumes. And to do that you will be needing an Amiibo figure, all you have to do is place the Amiibo on the Wii U gamepad and it will unlock the costume. It is still unsure if one Amiibo figure can unlock one costume or several more, but we?ll find out more once the game is released. Now what makes the costumes unique is that each of them has its own custom sound bites that are based on their respective game, unlock Megaman and he will have his signature hop sound and death sound bites, or try unlocking Link in all of his 8-bit glory with sword stabbing animation.
Someone from Nintendo World Report featured a short compilation of several costumes that can be unlocked in the game, you can check the video below to find out more. And then there is also another video uploaded on YouTube showing all of the possible costumes that can be unlocked in the game. Some of them include the newer Amiibo figures and trading cards from Splatoon and Animal Corssing.
According to Nintendo, over 50 Amiibo figures will be compatible to Super Mario Maker. If you are excited on creating your own levels and share it with everyone else, make sure to get Super Mario Maker as it becomes available on September 11 for the Nintendo Wii U.
