Suits Season 7 is all set! The news of the series? renewal was confirmed by USA Network on Wednesday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. The series’ upcoming season makes it the longest running show that the cable channel currently has.
According to Aaron Korsh, showrunner of Suits, he had renewed his deal with Universal Cable Productions for two years. He said this made season 7 a sure deal and fans could even expect that there will be a season 8. He said though that while he cannot tell when their show will end, he confirmed that the series is closer to its end than to its beginning.
Earlier speculations claim that the seventh season could be the last.
Based on the last episodes we have seen, main character Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) had to spend two years of his life in jail for his fraud charges. He pretended to be a lawyer when he did not even pass the bar examinations.
The first half of Suits season six ran with 10 episodes until September and it is expected to convey more exciting outcomes.
According to spoilers, there is a huge chance for fake love to arise. Viewers could expect to see more mystery, as well as broken hearts as Mike Ross and Rachel Zane?s love story comes to an end.
At the start of it all, the original script had stated that Ross and Zane were suppose to be wed. However, the storyline did not go forward. Fans say the ending is too much of a heartbreak and we?re hoping things could get lighter, although it looks like this is not the path the series would most likely take.
As for Rachel, plotlines for season 6 suggest that she may find love again, but with a different man. This means we can expect to see a fresh new face to join the show.
Korsh earlier denied all rumors that season 6 was the last and so here comes season 7.
Season 7 is scheduled to debut in 2017.
