No fast forward. No flash back.
One thing is for sure, the next season of ?Suits? will pick up where it left off.
According to the report of Christian Today, Season 6 of the much talked about TV series will continue from the shocking finale of the previous installment, where Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, surprisingly admitted his crime leading to his imprisonment. ?It should be noted that he opted to do it than let Harvey, who portrayed by Gabriel Macht, and the company fall down.
Producer Aaron Korsh revealed in an interview with Hollywood Reporter, as posted in the article, that the first episode of the forthcoming season will just revolve around the first 24 hours since Mike was put into jail. This includes the first night of Mike in the detention cell and the situation in the company.
According to him, they opted to go with a linear progression rather than revealing key events piece by piece in no particular order (makes sense). So how long will Mike spend in prison? Well, reports say that it will not be short, but the good thing is he will still be able to attain a ?real? law degree (Hooray!). However, he will get this elusive degree outside of prison, trashing the idea of him becoming a ?jailhouse lawyer.? So expect that Mike will undergo difficult circumstances in the coming episodes. Let?s just hope he?ll survive through it.
What kind of twists and turnarounds? We have yet to know.
Since Mike will be spending a significant time inside jail, the five core members of the show are seen trying to maintain that their group remain tight and strong. Will they part ways? There?s a possibility. They are also expected to look for new jobs since the Pearson Specter Litt firm has now shut down.
