Suicide Squad Movie Rating: Producers Vie For PG-13, But Joker Scenes Too Disturbing?

Suicide Squad, the upcoming Warner Bros.,based on the anti-hero team of DC comic characters, is vying for a PG-13 rating – this, despite the fact that there are a lot of mentally disturbing scenes from the movie, the most notable of which are those from Jared Leto’s The Joker.

The movie producer Charles Roven, told?Collider.com?that Suicide Squad is aiming for a PG-13 rating despite the dark and violent characters of the super villains. Rowan said that the movie is right on thee edge of PG-13 but still is PG-13. The Warner Bros., want to keep the movie in line with the other movies that are part of the DC universe that includes the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie . They want the younger audiences are able to watch it and connect it with franchise’s other entries. Its part of the marketing strategy to attract all the audiences so that the movie is able to earn revenues to make up for $100 million budget.

On the other hand, the acting of Jared Leto, who is said to have pushed boundaries with his performance of the Joker. He stayed in the character the whole time and even sent a dead hog and a live rat to his co-stars Will Smith, who plays Deadshot and Margot Robbie who stars as Harley Quinn.

According to?Heroic Hollywood, the latest rumors place the Enchantress as the main villain in the movie. The Enchantress, a powerful sorceress in the DC comics, played by Cara Delevingne will try to resurrect her brother and will be the target of Task Force X who try to save the world from being destroyed. Fans have come up with this theory after taking in the clues from the trailer of the movie. Previously it was believed that the character of Joker, played by method actor Jared Leto would be the villain who escapes?and the mission of the team would be to capture him.

Whatever the rumors are it would be interesting to see how the movie turns out to be when it releases on August 5in 2016.
