Many DC fans have been intrigued how actor Jared Leto can pull-off his role as The Joker after Heath Ledger arguably did the best portrayal of the Clown Prince Of Crime in The Dark Knight movie back in 2008. Jared Leto has now divulged more character detail on how he portrays The Clown Prince. Also see the new images from the Suicide Squad movie below.

Jared Leto?s The Joker

News broke out before about Jared Leto doing different pranks on-set as he didn?t want to break out of his character in the entirety of the filming. But channeling The Joker wasn?t his only focus as he also strived to bring something new to the platter.

?I always get the sense that The Joker may be much older than people think,? Jared Leto told Empire Magazine per ComicBookMovie. ?It?s something different. If you don?t break rules, you?re not going to strike new ground.?

Director David Ayer also talked about Leto?s Joker. He told Empire that Leto?s portrayal is too strong to the point that it already feels like he?s ?scary?. He

?The Joker is the third rail of comic book movies. There?s a power to that character, and by some freaking miracle, through the incredible things Jared has done and the photography and all the other? millions of things that went into it, we?ve cooked up somethings transcendent. He?s scary.?
