People have been itching for a great Streetfighter movie adaption. Even a mini TV series that actually makes the characters come to life would be nice. Sure, Hollywood did try and make those, but let?s be honest, those were really terrible. It has been 25 years since the last core installment. We already have Streetfighter V in PS4 last month — it would be nice if we had something to look at other than those great animated graphics. The last one we?ve seen on the big screen is the film from 1994 starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and the latest one was 2009?s Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.
As I?ve said earlier, those earlier movies weren?t so big (apparently a bit disappointing). Capcom has had more success when they?ve allowed their intellectual property be borrowed by some independent people who have passion for the game. Last 2014, an actor and stunt coordinator named Joey Ansah surprised us by bringing our favorite characters to life. Ken and Ryu were brought to life by showing them in Street Fighter: Assassin?s Fist live-action web series. Now this awesome guy has made a promise to bring us yet another great web series named Street Fighter: Resurrection. The series is back and has been launched last Tuesday, March 15, 2016. We are absolutely glad this guy is back doing writing and editing.
Street Fighter: Resurrection will feature four episodes as a live-action miniseries, This sets the stage for Streetfighter V as the long-awaited sequel of the epic video game. We have waited for this series for around a year or so but now we can see this great live-action on go90. Ken and Ryu are back and will face a very strong threat. Charlie Nash is back with a vengeance and they need to stop him or else.
