Stranger Things Season 2 still has a long way to go. However, many fans cannot seem to wait for any news or updates about the hit show. The Netflix original series became one of the most successful shows this year. Thankfully, the streaming service has revealed that there will be a second season next year. With that already settled, countless fans are trying to find out any Stranger Things Season 2 spoilers that they can get their hands on.

Stranger Things definitely left a lot of room for a second season with how the first season ended. One thing fans are curious about is who or what will be the new villain in season 2.

With Eleven defeating the Demogorgon, there is a huge void as to what the gang will be facing up against. Will throwing up slugs in the bathroom is certainly a possible hint as there is a possibility that he could be incubating Demogorgon babies inside him.

Another possibility is that a new monster hinted at by the boys? Dungeons & Dragons game could be featured in Season 2. Remember that the Demogorgon was the evil monster they were trying to defeat in the first part of the series. If fans would notice, the Thessalhydra is the villain they thought to have defeated in the Season 1 finale.

MoviePilot recaps the D&D game in Episode 8 where Will fireballs the Thessalhydra and then Lucas cuts off seven heads which Dustin placed in a bag to present to King Tristan. That may sound like they have defeated the monster but according to the same article a keen Redditor pointed out that the Thessalhydra actually has eight heads, not seven.

In Dungeons & Dragons lore, cutting off one the heads of a Thessalhydra would not kill the monster as the severed heads can actually regenerate after some time. It could certainly be nothing. However, on the other hand, it may be the Duffer Brothers? sneaky Easter egg that gives fans a preview of next season?s villain.
