?Stranger Things? is on its way to entertain fans with season 2. As per the latest reports, ?Stranger Things? season 2 filming is in progress.
Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, the creators of the show have revealed that the stars of season 1 will reprise their roles. The cast will include ?Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Cara Buono, Charlie Heaton and Matthew Modine. The upcoming season will be full of suspense and innovations.
?We obviously have this gate to another dimension, which is still very much open in the town of Hawkins. And a lot of questions there in terms of, if the Monster is dead, was it a singular monster? What else could be out there? We really don?t go in there much until they go in to find Will at the end. So we?ve opened up this doorway, and to us it?s exciting to talk about, like, what else is behind there? There?s a lot more mystery there to be solved,? Ross Duffer said, according to bloody-disgusting.
?Stranger Things? executive producer Dan Cohen has said that ?season 2 will continue the story of the previous season.
?At one point there was this idea of doing ?80s, ’90s, 2000s, and then Season 5 would be 2020 and it would catch up to present day. But I think at the end of the day there was this world that we really loved and in making it and we didn?t want to move away from these kids. There is so many cool dynamics and mythologies. This world the Duffer Brothers created was so awesome and there?s still so much unanswered that it?s impossible to not want to continue into the next year,? Cohen said.
“Stranger Things” second season will pack nine episodes. It will return to Netflix in 2017.
