Steven Universe Season 3 is returning to Cartoon Network after a short break from ?In Too Deep.? Following the 6-episode series, the beloved Steven is back with a new set of episodes in ?Steven?s Summer? starting July 18, 2016. Those who haven?t been aware of the rest of the third season of Steven Universe, ?Steven?s Summer? will feature 5 more episodes from Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22, 2016 on Cartoon Network.
Steven?s Summer Adventure schedule, which starts on Monday, will begin with ?Steven Floats? episode at 7:00 p.m. EST with the rest of the episodes airing on the same time from Tuesday to Friday. The rest includes ?Too Short to Ride,? ?Drop Beat Dad,? ?Mr. Greg? and ?The New Lars.? In a previous report that features an interview with Steven Universe creator Rebecca Sugar, she promised a different Steven Universe Season 3 story this time, and it has something to do with Steven?s role in the universe. Apart from that, Sugar declined to give any more details on the show.
In her interview, Sugar said ?I don’t want to give any spoilers, but there will be a lot more about Gem history and Gems in the present and how they feel about what’s going on, on earth.” Sugar also added that the upcoming episodes will also picture the difficult journey of Steven, but this time around, things will be easier with the help of the rest of the Gems and Steven?s father.
Meanwhile, the first episode on ?Steven?s Summer? entitled ?Steven Floats? depicts how he accidentally discovers a new power that makes him float. Unfortunately, his experience with his floatation power doesn?t sit well with the things he needs to accomplish. Although there are indications that Steven?t floating capability will help the Gems in a bigger way, Steven needs to learn more about it and start discovering what his new super power can contribute to the group.
Steven Universe Season 3 will start airing on Cartoon Network on Monday, July 18, 2016, so don?t miss the exciting updates on the show by reading on TheBitBag.com.
