This year, Ubisoft made a pretty impressive appearance at E3 2016, and when the press conference ended, the upcoming skiing game Steep fueled discussions among fans. The beautiful mountains and exhilarating gameplay makes Steep?s release highly anticipated. At E3, Ubisoft also allowed select players to get their hands on the upcoming titles, and the reports from various players suggest that the game is bringing a superb experience.
Ubisoft will release Steep in December this year. The publisher has not yet confirmed any specific release date.
The upcoming game is set in the Alps, and it can be played in a first-person and third-person perspective. Players can enjoy the gameplay in four different ways. They can choose from snowboarding, wingsuit flying, skiing and paragliding. The game?s menu wheel will let the players choose any of these gameplay elements.
Steep also has a trick system which allows players to perform different moves that include grappling, spinning and more. These special moves let the players earn points and medals. According to players who got their hands on the skiing title, the game is fun, but only in the first few levels. The review by Redbull also says that the game is absolutely fine for newcomers, but in the long run, it becomes repetitive. There?s nothing more in the game apart from sliding between trees and cottages. The game also sometimes annoys the players, especially when the user crashes into something. The game lacks a rewind button which forces players to make an entire restart when they crash.
Steep still has a few months to hit shelves, but there might not be enough time for the developer to bring drastic improvements to the game. The game will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For more news and updates, keep it here on The Bitbag.
