PC gamers have a ton of things to be excited about as Valve has finally kicked off one of the Steam sales for this year. Tons of games will come at massive discounts during the sale and players should look forward to nabbing the best deals on Steam. There are surefire ways to get our money’s worth during the Steam Summer Sale 2017.
The Steam Summer Sale won’t just give players access to deals on individual titles as Valve also gives players the chance to buy entire franchises with great discounts. There are a ton of good bundles during the Steam Summer Sale 2017, but there are some specific games that players should really look out for.
Those looking for some hardcore action should definitely be on the lookout for when From Software’s Dark Souls series will go on sale during the Steam Sale. If the bundle does come at a discount, it’ll come with the 3 games in the series. There’s a good chance that Steam might bundle the complete editions of the 3 games with the bundle but if that’s not the case, players can still pay a little extra for the DLCs.
Currently, Dark Souls 2 is currently included in a humble bundle. If players want to get the second entry plus a couple more games, this is already a good deal.
The Darksiders series is one of the most underrated series of games out there. There are two games coming with the bundle and Valve is sure to be bundling the Warmastered and Deathfinitive editions, which are remastered versions of the two Darksiders games. Buying the pack would be timely as the anticipated Darksiders 3 will launch next year.
Another franchise that will give us our money’s worth is 2K’s BioShock. The franchise pack is going to come with the remastered versions of the first two games as the regular versions are no longer available on Steam. Aside from these two, players will be getting BioShock Infinite, which could be bought with a Season Pass.
CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3 is one of the best games of 2015 and players should play it at least once. What’s good about the series is that the 3 titles are connected to each other and with the Steam Summer Sale 2017 comes the opportunity to follow Geralt of Rivia’s adventure from beginning up to the most recent title. The first two games aren’t as easy to get into as The Witcher 3, but it’s best to relive the epic adventure across the three franchises so it’s still worth getting. All games are expansive and should give players over a hundred of hours in-game.
