It?s not long ago that Star Wars Rebels Season 3 was announced and suddenly, you hear rumors online that it?s going to be the next in line on the big screen. It shouldn’t be surprising, nor should one consider it as wishful thinking; after all, the ?Star Wars? big screen trademark is known for its series of sagas. But let?s be practical and see things where they are now. Star Wars Rebels Season 3 is just about to begin and if you weren?t informed, its first two episodes will be screened this coming July 16 at the Star Wars Celebration in Europe.

That alone should hold fans at bay that even if it?s not slated for the big screen, Star Wars Rebels Season 3 is reason enough to move forward on the series. In the case of this upcoming season, it was producer Simon Kinberg?s statement that initially pushed viewers to jump straight to the cinematic version of the series rather than what has not yet been premiered on TV.

In his interview with MovieFone, Kinberg said ?What’s lovely is, obviously, we’ve brought in characters from ‘Clone Wars’ in the second season, and we keep sort of bringing characters from the original movies and sort of deepening the relationships between our core characters, the Ghost crew. So it’s trying to balance the two different things, like the original cast from the first season with ‘Clone Wars,’ with characters from the original movies, and maybe even feeding into future movies.”

What?s interesting about the company?s transition to movies is their slow integration of original ?Star Wars? characters to their animated series such as ?Clone Wars? and ?Star Wars Rebels.?

Meanwhile, the latest on the ?Star Wars Rebels? Season 3 shows Darth Maul?s return. Although it was previously stated by creator Dave Filoni that the third season will not concentrate on Darth Maul and Darth Vader?s battle scenes, the beginning of the series may just show a subtle resemblance to that.

Star Wars Rebels Season 3 is set to be released this year, but first, you may want to check the upcoming Star Wars Celebration in Europe for the screening of its first two episodes. Also, don?t miss the latest updates on this news by reading TheBitBag.com.
