Chewbacca is set to join his best buddy Han Solo in an upcoming Star Wars movie. CEO of Disney, Bob Iger, have officially confirmed the return of Chewbacca in the 2018 Han Solo movie, according to Collider.
Disney made the right move in announcing Chewbacca?s appearance in the movie that will surely make the upcoming film more in-demand. According to ComingSoon, the Han Solo movie will focus on ?how young Han Solo became the smuggler, thief, and scoundrel whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered in the cantina at Mos Eisley.? As the very hairy Star Wars character, Chewbacca will definitely pop out somewhere, and it?s just a matter of time before we get some scoop.
Star Wars featuring Han Solo and Chewbacca

It was already expected that Han Solo and Chewbacca will have their own spin-off since they?re very in-demand characters in any Star Wars movie. However, the statement from Iger is ?the first confirmation? and have certainly made it official, according to Gizmodo.
