And it seems that Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are not the only ones that will become playable.
The Star Wars Battlefront Beta is starting to kick in on the PC, some folks on the internet are starting to tinker in the game files of Battlefront. Reddit user TheeUberMedic managed to get some data by digging deeper within the game and found some interesting details, apparently Luke, Boba Fett and Vader won?t be the only characters available in the game. TheeUberMedic stumbled upon a characters.cb file that contains some files for Han Solo, Princess Leia and the Emperor, it also include the already mentioned Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, and from the looks of it, these six will be playable in the beta.
It has already been confirmed by EA that Luke, Boba and Vader will be ?some? of the playable heroes and villains, though it may not be surprising to see Han, Leia and the Emperor to be available in Battlefront, but making them available at the beta without any announcement is more surprising. These characters in Star Wars Battlefront are a special feature where they can become playable where players must unlock as special power-up in order to play as them, these characters will have powerful abilities that can turn the tides in the battlefield, you can defeat waves of troopers and even cripple a vehicle, but things will get tricky when you fight off against a Hero or Villain as well.
Aside from the discovered character files, TheeUberMedic also discovered a file that has some reference to a Hero Battle, it is unsure if the Hero Battle is a different game mode or some mechanic inside the multiplayer game.
Star Wars Battlefront will be available on November 17 and the beta test is now open on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One which will last until October 12.
