Electronic Arts has already confirmed the development of Star Wars Battlefront 2, and now the game is available for pre-order on Amazon. The retail giant has put up a listing on its website suggesting that interested buyers can pre-order the sequel to the successful Star Wars Battlefront game for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The company has not revealed any specific details regarding the release date of the game, and the cover image shown on the listing is also not the final one.

Star Wars video game fans can pre-order the upcoming game on Amazon. It is still unconfirmed if the upcoming game will be called Star Wars Battlefront 2, but the existence of a sequel has been confirmed.

A few weeks ago, EA confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be launched sometime in the near future. The company also revealed that the game will feature content from the latest Star Wars films. The game publisher also hinted at the missing game modes, suggesting that the upcoming third-person shooter will include the ones that were not available in the first game.

In October 2005, LucasArts published a video game titled Star Wars Battlefront II on consoles and PC. Presumably, EA Dice would come up with a new name for the upcoming game because the same names might confuse people.

Regarding the Star Wars Battlefront 2 release date, the company has made it very clear that it will release the game sometime in the 2017 fiscal year. It means that the company will launch the game anytime during April 2017 to March 2018. The title was not mentioned in the company?s current fiscal year plans, meaning the title isn?t expected to come out before March 2017. Releasing a sequel to last year?s Star Wars Battlefront would be a good idea for the publisher. Polygon reported that EA has shipped over 14 million Star Wars Battlefront copies for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
