Square Enix E3 2016: What To Expect On Kingdom Hearts Remasters (Video)

Game developer Square Enix is again going to participate in this year?s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) and is expected to unveil the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. However, it seems like the company is not going to talk about the final chapter of the franchise, Kingdom Hearts III.

Although the company will not talk about the much-anticipated final installment of the Kingdom Hearts series, Square Enix has continually released an HD compilation of what the game has to offer come its release, and at the E3 2016, the game developer will present the final compilation, which according to Christian Times will include other side titles of the game in HD like Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage and Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover in cinematic title.

Now, the question is, when is this collection going to be available in consoles? According to the University Herald, Square Enix has confirmed that the HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be available for PS4 in December. However, for Xbox One users, it seems like you will have to wait for further announcements to know when it will hit the shelves for your console.

The collection is going to be playable during the E3 2016 from June 14-16. But, the presentation of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is going to be on June 15 at 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. Meanwhile, Christian Times also noted that the Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is going to be an interesting addition to the franchise. It will feature Sora and Riku doing several challenges to earn the Keyblade master tile. On the other hand, the Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage will showcase Aqua?s adventure. The add-ons will bring several points that will eventually link to the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3.

Although there are lots of things happening in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, the last chapter of its story, Kingdom Hearts 3, is expected to be available in mid-2017. Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
