Recently, Spider-Man battled his fellow MCU heroes in Captain America: Civil War. Now, Peter Parker gears up to deal with the Vulture in 2017. And this is just one of the many reasons why many are just so excited about Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The Spiderman film will be directed by Jon Watts. It?s also notable that Spider-Man: Homecoming is the Web-Slinger’s first solo MCU movie.
Marvel made no confirmations about the actor playing the winged foe. Rumor has it that it could be Michael Keaton. Though no actor has been tasked to play the role so far, most fans agree that the Vulture is the best villain. Based on the comics, he was one of his earliest rivals. Vulture is also known as Adrian Toomes.
However, it looks like it won’t be easy for Peter Parker. According to recent reports, the Vulture is not the only powerful villain in the Spider-Man: Homecoming. It looks like The Tinkerer will also join the cast. The Tinkerer will be the secondary antagonist.
For those who are not familiar with The Tinkerer, he is one of the Marvel universe’s best scientific geniuses. He first appeared in 1962. He is not much known as a super villain. Instead, he supplies other more popular villains with edgy weapons.
Rumors about the genius villain joining Spider-Man: Homecoming started early in May. It was the same instance when it was said that the MCU’s Phones Fogg would help Vulture build his suit.
Although there is a huge possibility that The Tinkerer will be part of the much-awaited movie, how he is going to fit in remains unknown. But given the fact that he is a weapon supplier, fans can expect that the movie will be filled with a lot of new unusual gadgets and weaponry.? The Tinkerer? may use his own weapons for his fights, or perhaps build a business with them. We can also anticipate to see the Chitauri element being featured.
