Sony has introduced a new smartphone Xperia XA and is expected to start shipping this June. It is available for pre-registration on the company?s website. Here are the detailed specs of Xperia XA.
The Xperia XA will be available in two variants with an option of single and dual SIMs. However, other specs will be same.
Xperia XA will be powered by Mediatek MT 6755 Helio P10 processor and 64 bit Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53. Mali-T860MP2 GPU will be there to manage and boost the performance of video and graphics. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory expandable up to 200GB. Xperia XA will run Android Marshmallow v6.0.1.
Xperia XA will feature 5-inch HD display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels at 294 ppi density. Capacitive touchscreen is protected by Scratch-resistant glass and offers multiple touch option up to 4 fingers.
It includes 13MP main camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. Main camera features 1/3″ sensor size, geo-tagging, HDR and panorama mode. Moreover, it features 5x Clear Image Zoom and auto-Scene Recognition. Front camera of 8 MP with 1/4″ sensor size also have autofocus and HDR options.
Non-removable Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery offers up to 55 hours of music playback and up to 12h 20min of talk time.
Additional features include Accelerometer, compass and proximity sensors. Fast battery charging and an active noise cancellation with dedicated mic will also be there. It will be available in four colors including White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold, Rose Gold.
Other devices in Xperia X series include Xperia X and X Performance. The only notable difference is the processors. The X Performance runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 while Xperia X is fitted with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor.
It is a base model of Xperia X series and will cost $350 approximately. Xperia X will cost around $670. High-end model Xperia X performance will roughly cost $1111.
