What looks like a press image of Sony’s latest mobile device went online and has now gone viral. It’s the alleged Sony Xperia X 2017 and it looks awesome! It has a thinner bezel and appears to be edgeless (almost). It sports a slim dimension and the product description reads #TheGreatest.

Speculations are going around that the latest Xperia model may be getting the best state of the art software and hardware that could boost its performance, per Phone Arena. The company has yet to make a statement. But with the way things look, the variant of the black colored handset simply looks elegant. The volume keys also appear to have been moved to the far left side. Then again, everyone must take this with a grain of salt no matter how viral it got. After all, it?s not official until the company itself confirms it is.

Sony is most likely to feature the new Xperia X 2017 in two events namely, the MWC 2017 and CES 2017. But the Android Community believes that the alleged device might be launched in the CES at Las Vegas instead.

Sony Xperia Handsets Get Android Nougat 7.1.1 Update

Meanwhile, along with the release of Xperia X Concept update is the Android Nougat 7.1.1. This is the latest Android OS version. Together with this firmware update, the company released the security patch of December. Bear in mind though that the OS will only be made available to those who are registered and have installed Concept for Android. If that’s the case, another version may be released in the next few weeks.
