Sony PlayStation VR is one of the easiest ways to experience Virtual Reality gaming. The console, as well as the VR itself, comes in cheaper than the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive. While there are more than 107 VR games currently available, Sony stated that there?s still a lot to come.
Hence, we?ve rounded up the list of Sony PlayStation VR games. However, do take note that there aren?t a lot of Triple-A PSVR games at the present time.
Sony PlayStation VR Games
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard or Biohazard 7 Resident Evil might be the most anticipated VR game that is coming in early 2017. Capcom changed their 7th iconic zombie game in the franchise to a first-person. Hence, the game can now be played entirely in PS VR.
As a matter of fact, the game being played in VR makes it a lot scarier at some point. Players will be put in and around a derelict Louisiana mansion. To make matters worse, the family that dwells within the house will also be coming after you.
While it?s unfortunate that the Gran Turismo Sport release is delayed, fans should expect it any time now given that 2017 has already come. However, the game won?t be a full VR game according to the game creator Kazunori Yamauchi.
On the positive side, it will still feature a VR experience that is similar to Star Wars Battlefront?s ?X-Wing mission. The game is still expected to give an amazing experience when played in Sony PlayStation VR.
Tekken 7 is also making its way into the list of highly anticipated VR games for Sony PlayStation. And no, players won?t be actually be hitting people in a first-person view. Instead, the game?s senior designer Michael Murray hinted that players may be able to customize characters and even see them up close.
Star Trek: Bridge Crew is yet another game that has been delayed to 2017. On the other hand, Ubisoft?s VR game seems to have established an unmatched excitement in certain people. Despite the game?s delay from supposedly November 29, 2016, to March 14, 2017, people still have a positive outlook for the game.
Within the game, four players will be taking the important roles on a bridge of a starship. Similar to what the Enterprise?s crew does in the movies, players will take control of a huge ship. Hence, Teamwork and coordination will be the key towards success.
The last but not the least, Farpoint. The only game that will take advantage of the new VR gun aim controller. Players will be exploring the dusty planet, which is similar to Mars? appearance. In addition, the players are going to be haunted by a swarm of alien bugs popping out from the rocks.
The game might be a basic simple shooter, but it will give an amazing VR experience once paired with an Aim controller. All in all, it will be a VR game that is something to look forward to, especially if you?re a fan of sci-fi movies.
