Sony E3 2016 Live Stream: PS4 NEO, Red Dead Redemption 2, And More Reveals

Sony E3 2016

Sony Interactive Entertainment is holding its annual E3 2016 media briefing on June 13 at 6 PM Pacific Time at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. You can catch the event livestream on the official PlayStation Twitch channel. Sony is traditionally the last of the major players to give their presentation, and this year is no different.

With Sony back atop the gaming world this generation thanks to the success of the PlayStation 4, all eyes will definitely be on this year?s show to see if they can sustain the momentum. Here are some of the biggest games and announcements we?re expecting from the Sony E3 2016 conference this year.

PS4.5 NEO

If you hadn?t already heard, the PS4.5 NEO is real. Over the weekend, Sony IE boss Andrew House confirmed that a more powerful version of the PlayStation 4 is in development. For more info, you can check out our coverage here. House said that the system would not be at the conference this year, but we should expect it to get a shout out in the presentation.

PlayStation VR

PlayStation VR will no doubt be a huge part of this year?s conference. Expect to see several previously announced games along with some reveals. Rumors are circulating about a possible VR version of No Man?s Sky being announced while EA teased a Star Wars X-Wing VR game during its conference.

The Last Guardian

After being raised from development hell during last year?s E3, PlayStation gamers are eagerly awaiting some more concrete info on The Last Guardian. The spiritual successor to Shadow of the Colossus and Ico still has a ?2016? release window attached to it, so let?s hope that Sony finally gives us a date and some gameplay footage to match.

The Last of Us 2? Red Dead Redemption 2?

What would an E3 conference be without a huge reveal? A new Naughty Dog reveal so soon after Uncharted 4 seems a little unlikely, but we can hope. More likely, however, is some news from Rockstar. Sony has always had a good relationship with the Grand Theft Auto developer, and there is some speculation that its latest project, which is widely rumored to be either Red Redemption 2 or AGENT, might make its debut during Sony?s show.
