MMORPG fans have something to look forward to next month as a new game in the genre is about to hit the PlayStation 4. Allods Team and Obsidian Entertainment’s Skyforge will launch for the PlayStation 4 next month and we couldn’t be more excited. Here’s everything we know so far about the Skyforge PS4 release date and its gameplay details.
Skyforge PS4 Release Date
The developer behind the game recently announced on the PlayStation Blog that the MMORPG Skyforge will be launching this March. No exact release date has been set for the game yet, but it’s slated for a March release frame. Players can register as early as now, and there will be bonuses in store after doing so.
Players who register as early as now for Skyforge will be able to get a few bonus items when the game launches in March. Registering now will give players the Immortal Pack when the game launches this Spring. The Immortal Pack includes a Cyber Costume, Halo, and Glowing Eyes. All the bonus items are exclusive to registering.
Moreover, players will be able to grab a host of items for logging in an account that’s subscribed to PlayStation Plus. To get the bonuses, players will need to visit the official Skyforge PS4 website.
The battle mechanic of Skyforge is similar to any standard MMORPG, so players should be pretty familiar with how the game plays out. What sets Skyforge apart from other RPGs is the special Divine Form ability that allows players to easily unleash wrath against enemies.
Like other MMORPGs, Skyforge will have a job system. Players will be able to unlock and interchange between 14 varying classes: Gryomancer, Witch, Berserker, Knight, Necromancer, Monk, Archer, Gunner, Kinetic, Lightbinder, Outlaw, Alchemist, Paladin, and Slayer. Each of the classes is different from each other, and players are free to choose whatever job they want depending on their playstyle.
To make the characters a lot powerful, players will have to employ the use of armor and weapons. Players can craft the weapons and armor by getting the parts dropped by enemies.
Skyforge will be set in Aelion and players will have to scour the land and its over 100 locations. Players will be able to spend hours and hours in the game’s Campaign mode. There’s a lot to dig into the upcoming MMORPG and it’s a pretty interesting title to grab.
