According to International Business Times, “Sherlock” Season 4 creator Mark Gatiss had teased Tom?s entry. Gattis has mentioned that he wants a critically acclaimed actor to play a role in Season 4. For Sherlock fans, Sherrinford is not an unknown character. He was one of the popular characters of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes novels.
Other cast members like Sachia Dhawan and Toby Jones will also be part of Sherlock season 4. Sacha Dhawan of “The History Boys” and “In The Club” fame will be featured in Sherlock Season 4, according to GameNGuide. However, she will be a guest star. Sacha?s character will be called AJ. It isn?t known whether or not she will be an antagonist.
iDigital Times has reported that actor Toby Jones will also be seen in episode 2 of Season 4. “Delighted to have Toby Jones on board, bringing to life one of Doyle?s finest villains,? said co-creator Mark Gatiss. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman will be reprising their roles. You will also find Amanda Abbington, Una Stubbs, Rupert Graves, Jonathan Aris and Louise Brealey.
