Shadow Warrior is Coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One This September

Good news Shadow Warrior fans! Shadow Warrior is finally coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! Publisher Devolver Digital along with Majesco Entertainment announced Wednesday that they will be bringing the Action-FPS game to the next-gen consoles. Devolver Digital will be distributing the game via the consoles? digital services while Majesco will be in charge of the retail distribution.

?Our fans have been very vocal about bringing Shadow Warrior to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One so we?re absolutely thrilled to be working with our friends at Majesco to put Wang in a box later this year,? said Ford Parker, CFO of Devolver Digital.

Shadow Warrior was developed by Flying Wild Hog and is a remake of the 1997 PC classic. The game is now reinvented with modern graphics, a reimagined storyline, combat mechanics, and a lot of added content. The game was first released September of last year exclusively for the PC.

Shadow Warrior tells the story of Lo Wang, a corporate shogun, who is commanded by his employer Zilla Enterprises to forge a legendary blade. Lo Wang finds himself in a world of demons and abominations that prevents him from achieving his mission. Along his journey, he discovers the true motives of the people around him.

The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 retail version of Shadow Warrior will be released sometime in late September. It will be priced at $39.99.
