San Diego Comic Con 2016 Exclusives: Lego, Nickelodeon, Star Wars, & Special Loots

The San Diego Comic Con 2016 is just around the corner and prior to its kickoff, which is this Thursday, July 21, at the San Diego Convention Center, let us take a quick look at the exclusives that are going to be offered at the event.

Star Wars

Some of the most anticipated collectibles that are going to be available in this year?s Comic Con are the merchandise from the Star Wars franchise. TheBitbag has already written about the collector?s items that could be had during the event.

Chewbacca watch strap, Star Wars socks, Rey backpack, Black series Obi Wan Kenobi pack, and the Star Wars carships trench run – these are just some of the Star Wars collectibles at this year?s Comic Con. To see the full list of the merchandise from the franchise, you can visit StarWars.com.

LEGO Minifigures

Aside from the Star Wars franchise, it is also going to be a busy week for the LEGO company. According to reports, they are going to showcase in their booth several DC and Marvel figures that fans will surely enjoy.

Batman and Joker will be the starters for Lego on Thursday, July 21, at the San Diego Comic Con 2016. It well then be followed by Doctor Strange and Black Panther on Friday, July 22. The tandem of Superman and Wonder Woman will be featured on the third day of the event, and lastly, on the fourth day, it is going to be Captain America and Iron Man.

 

Speaking of Captain America, it was reported by Entertainment Weekly that LEGO is going to launch a minifigure of the character that is Hydra-devoted. Aside from that, fans who are not going to the Comic Con should also keep an eye on @LEGO_Group and the hashtag #LEGOSDCC on Twitter from Friday, July 22, to Sunday, July 24, to get a chance to win a mini-Captain America.

Nickelodeon

Another booth that every fan should look out for is that of the Nickelodeon?s. Just like the Star Wars franchise and the LEGO company, they are also going to sell collectibles at this year?s Comic Con. Check out their merchandise.

?The Nick Box? is a compilation of exclusive items from shows like The Ren & Stimpy Show, Rugrats, Rocko?s Modern Life, Hey Arnold and CatDog. It is going to cost $50 each box. A Dark Horse-exclusive Korra Statuette will also be featured at the booth of Nickelodeon. However, only 300 pieces will be available, but each will come with a certificate of authenticity.

Aside from Korra, Aang will also have his world premiere as a statuette. The very first Avatar in the series is going to appear 7-inch tall. There are only 150 figures that will be available so be sure to go to their booth early. Just like Korra?s minifigure, Aang?s will also come with certificate of authenticity. Each of them will cost $80.

Nickelodeon will also have an exclusive Bebop with Warthog Trike from Playmates at their booth, which will cost $30 each. According to reports, it is inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and it will come with ?two rocket grenade projectiles and custom vacuum-metallized chrome finishes.?
