The San Diego Comic-Con is the place to be when it comes to the hottest movie, TV show and comic book releases of the year. This 2016 has definitely been a year of superheroes and we will be seeing them and more in the next months.

Check out these 10 big movie releases to watch out for this 2016!

Suicide Squad

Suicide Squad has been highly anticipated by superhero fans and this time, supervillains will take the spotlight. Catch Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, and other dangerous incarcerated baddies who will take on a top-secret mission.

Suicide Squad hits theatres August 5, 2016.

Valerian: City of a Thousand Planets

Catch Cara Delevingne and Dan DeHaan as two special operatives who will take on a mission to the intergalactic city of Alpha where mysterious forces pose a huge threat to humanity. It is based on the French sci-fi comic series of the 70s titled Valerian and Laureline by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claud M?zi?res.

Valerian: City of a Thousand Planets premieres July 21, 2017.

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Revisit the 1975 cult classic with the two-hour television special premiering on October 20 on FOX, according to Comingsoon.net. The cast includes Laverne Cox as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Victoria Justice as Janet, Ryan McCartan as Brad, Adam Lambert as Eddie, Reeve Carney as Riff Raff, Staz Nair as Rocky, Annaleigh Ashford as Sylvia, Christina Milian as Magenta, and Tim Curry, as the original Frank-N-Furter, who returns as the Criminologist Narrator.

Wonder Woman

Catch Gal Gadot as Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman in the Amazonian superheroine?s ?first live-action movie. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins, other stars include Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright.

The voices of Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick are featured in the new trippy animated Trolls movie, Reuters writes. It is based on the well-loved Danish toys with animation inspired by the vibrant and psychedelic style of the 70s.

Justice League

The DC superhero team makes its debut on November 17, 2017. It stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

The Wizarding World takes us to New York in 1926 where a young wizard Newst Scamander (Eddie Redmayne, travels to America to track down magical creatures who escaped from his suitcase. Newt is definitely in big trouble in both worlds.

Kong: Skull Island

Tom Hiddleston, Toby Kebbell and Brie Larson encounter a gigantic ape and other creatures on a mysterious island. The film also centers on King Kong?s origins.

Doctor Strange

A second official trailer of Marvel?s upcoming superhero film debuted at the San Diego Comic Con. Benedict Cumberbatch stars as the egotistical neurosurgeon who will showcase Marvel?s strange and mystical side.
