Samsung Electronics unveiled Galaxy W with 7-inch display (178mm), equipped with a large screen and LTE-A network, it provides the best multimedia experience.
“7-inch large screen size and LTE-A networks which support the Galaxy W bring the best multimedia experience for consumers,? Samsung said in its official Korean blog adding that from now on Galaxy W?s big screen (that meets consumer needs) will continue to lead the market.
Aside from the horizontal size of 99.6mm and 16:9 aspect ratio, Galaxy W offers ‘landscape mode’ home screen and ‘split-screen’ function that maximizes the usability of the wide-screen. Plus, it comes with the ‘multi-window’ and ‘pop-up play’ that enhance multitasking capabilities.
‘Split-screen’ feature will allow users to use e-mail, messages, contacts, S Planner, galleries and other functions at the same time.
Samsung described that ‘Multi-window’ will allow two different applications to run simultaneously on a single screen, and ?pop-up play? will allow users to write a message or an Internet search during video playback where users can put the window on the desired position to watch.
