It is no mystery that Samsung had a very rough year in 2016. With the whole Galaxy Note 7 exploding battery fiasco, Samsung?s stock prices and reputation took a big hit. Now, the South Korean electronics giant is hoping to bounce back this year with its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8. If the early rumors are to be believed, it appears that Samsung is investing a lot on adding great Galaxy S8 feature to try and win back the public.

When the Galaxy Note 7 was first released, it was considered by many as one of the best smartphones of 2016. Sadly, a barrage of customer complaints of the smartphone?s exploding battery caused a worldwide recall of the Note 7. Eventually, Samsung stopped manufacturing of the smartphone and finally admitted defeat.

Now that a new year has already come, Samsung is looking to put the Note 7 controversy in the rearview mirror. With the early rumblings about the Galaxy S8, it appears that they plan on making it up with their upcoming flagship smartphone.

Some of the specs which are expected to be found on the Galaxy S8 is a powerful Exynos 8895 processor with a Mali-G71 GPU, a whopping 6GB of RAM and a new 30-megapixel camera.

That?s not all, the same report mentions that Samsung may even bump up the battery capacity of the Galaxy S8. It is rumored to feature a 4,200 mAh battery which will give the smartphone up to 24 hours of battery life with normal use.

Samsung is also expected to make drastic changes in the design aspect of the phone. It is said that the Galaxy S8 will no longer have a headphone jack and a physical home button. Samsung is likewise rumored to be considering the addition of dual speakers to the Galaxy S8.
