Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd (Samsung) has unveiled its newest flagship – the Galaxy Tab S, Samsung?s thinnest and lightest tablet to date.

Galaxy Tab S Super AMOLED tablet comes with the most advanced display technology with a full range of premium content for an amazing entertainment experience. Also, it is interesting to know that the Galaxy Tab S comes with ?enhanced productivity features for effortless multitasking which are housed in a highly stylish yet practical design.

In the official press release sent by the Samsung, JK Shin, CEO and President of IT & Mobile Division, Samsung Electronics said, ?The tablet is becoming a popular personal viewing device for enjoying content, which makes the quality of the display a critical feature. With the launch of the Galaxy Tab S, Samsung is setting the industry bar higher for the entire mobile industry. It will provide consumers with a visual and entertainment experience that brings colors to life, beautifully packaged in a sleek and ultra-portable mobile device.?

The Galaxy Tab S is dubbed as the lightest, thinnest tablet ever made by Samsung as it measures 6.6mm thin only. Samsung proudly said the Galaxy Tab S was designed for portability and provides a more comfortable experience over long periods of usage.

Moreover, Galaxy Tab S features a built-in fingerprint sensor for an easier multi-user access. In Multi-User Mode, the fingerprint scanner allows for access to individual, customized user profiles. In addition, the Galaxy Tab S also offers customizable settings and privacy features. Furthermore, the Kids Mode offers easy access to kid-friendly content, and gives parents the ability to control the content that kids access, as well as length of play.


Aside from those, Galaxy Tab S also offers more apps compatible with Multi Window. It also comes with the latest version of SideSync so the users can make and receive calls from their tablet via the connection to their phone, plus, they can simply drag and drop files from their phone to their Galaxy Tab S.

Another great news is that starting tomorrow, Galaxy Tab S will be available for Pre-Order in the U.S. market.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S also comes in a variety of connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, or Wi-Fi and LTE, available in 16/32GB* + MicroSD (up to 128GB). Plus, Samsung fans and lovers have the option to choose between the 10.5-inch and 8.4-inch versions, in Titanium Bronze or Dazzling White. Samsung Galaxy Tab S will be available in selected markets from July, 2014.
