In 2017, Samsung and HTC will have a competition sporting their flagship phones, the Galaxy S8 and the X10, respectively. Question is, which of them have better features. So, to help you decide which handset should you consider buying next year, let us take a closer look on each smartphone.
Let us start with the Samsung Galaxy S8. According to Forbes, the handset will boast a 5.5-inch and 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display. Snapdragon 830 or 835 is said to power the phone alongside the Android 7.1 Nougat with 6GB of RAM.
Rumor also has it that the smartphone will feature its own AI assistant similar to Apple?s Siri. Although Samsung has not confirmed it yet, there are speculations that its name is going to be Bixby. Lastly, latest claims state that the Galaxy S8 will have an external S-Pen that will have features similar to the one with the Galaxy Note 7.
In terms of its pricing, you should expect it to be around $810. The handset is expected to hit the stores in April.
Now, let us proceed to the HTC X10. Similar to the Galaxy S8, it will also have a 5.5-inch full HD display. It will be supported by MediaTek octa-core helio P10 SoC processor. However, its RAM is only at 3GB, just half of Galaxy S8?s RAM.
With regards to its internal memory, rumor has it that it will have two variants. One will have a 32GB internal storage, while the other will sport a 64GB internal memory. Meanwhile, its rear shooter will feature a 13MP camera with dual LED and Optical Image Stabilization. Lastly, the price of the X10 is said to be only at $288.
So, with all these rumors at hand, consumers should clearly consider buying the Samsung Galaxy S8 if they are after better specs. But, budget-wise, the HTC X10 is the one that will save you more money. Besides, it also has great features that will make it worth buying.
