Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date Price & Rumored Features

The exact release date of Samsung Galaxy S8 has not been specified yet. However, many are already very excited with reports of the new S-Series smartphone?s features and price.

According to PC Tech magazine, the first release of Samsung Galaxy S8 will be on April 2017 in South Korea, China, Japan and Taiwan. It will then be available for consumer purchase to those in US and Europe towards the end of that month.

Among the reported features of Samsung Galaxy S8 include a 4K Ultra HD display. The S-Series predecessor?s classy OLED displays have been dubbed by users as the best among today?s smartphones, so the S8?s visual is definitely one of the features that many are looking forward to seeing. A prototype was also presented by Samsung during the recent Display Week Conference.

Christian Today said it will measure 5.5 inches with 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution and 806ppi pixel density, with Virtual Reality with Android N Daydream Virtual Reality support included.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will reportedly be equipped with 6GB RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor. Other features include a 4,200 mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor and an IP68 rating.

Photo enthusiasts will also surely enjoy its 30MP rear camera and 9MP front camera, with 64 and 128GB internal memory and expandable dual microSD cards.

There are still no specific details about the price of the Samsung Galaxy S8, but many are already ready to splurge on it because of its exciting features. There have even been rumors that it might have a new kind of touch screen, with Samsung Corp. reportedly working on a foldable touch screen phone. However, reports also stated that the new foldable touch screen will be for the Samsung Galaxy X, which will have a 4K display with diamond PenTile subpixel arrangement.

Ever since reports surfaced early this year about Samsung working on the foldable smartphone that will be ready for mass production in 2017, many mobile users have been excited about how this mobile giant will take smartphones to the next level. ?
