Samsung sends out e-vites for Galaxy S8 unveiling in March

Marketing plays an important role in the success of a product. If executed properly, it could propel the product in question to great heights. However, as with everything, timing is the key. Perhaps that is why a couple of weeks prior to the planned unveiling, Samsung is now busy at work trying to  market the new Galaxy S8 phones. While the company already made it public that the phone will be released on the 29th of March, preparations are now in full bloom.

Yesterday, Samsung started sending out e-vites for the Galaxy S8 unveiling on March 29. The electronic invitation reads, “Unboxing your phone” with a secondary tagline of “The latest Galaxy is almost here.”

It is not unknown to many that Samsung will hold its upcoming “Unpacked” event in New York on the said date. A lot of Galaxy fans are looking forward to finally seeing the famed smartphone in real life. Furthermore, many are also excited at the prospect of knowing when exactly they can pre-order the phone.

So far, a number of reports point to an April 10 pre-order date. While Samsung is yet to formally confirm this, many experts believe that Samsung is well-prepared for the number of pre-orders that may come in. It is estimated that the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will pick up somewhere between 300,000 to 450,000 during its pre-order period. Furthermore, Samsung is also quite optimistic that the Galaxy S8 will break the previous records set by the Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S7.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the globe, Samsung South Korea is also making its preparations for the Galaxy S8 unveiling. The company just aired its first Galaxy S8 advertisement which is somehow simple, to say the least.

At the moment, it seems like all the preparations for the Galaxy S8 are being put in place. Samsung has a lot on the line for this flagship release mainly because it still needs to recover from the loss it suffered due to the Galaxy Note 7 recall saga. Hopefully, the Galaxy S8 will finally manage to free the company from the manacles that the Note 7 brought. For more updates on the Samsung Galaxy S8, be sure to check out TheBitbag.
