It seems that Samsung is already starting to put together the marketing materials for the Galaxy S8 in place. This could be the start of the preparations that the company will undertake for the official release. In the coming days, there will surely be more information leaked about the highly anticipated smartphone from Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to feature the newest Snapdragon 835 chip from Qualcomm. However, this chip will be present only on devices that will be sold within North America. On the other hand, regions like Europe and Asia will get Samsung’s very own Exynos 8895 processor.
As for the display, the smaller phone, the Galaxy S8, will have a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED panel. Meanwhile, the S8+ will have a 6.2-inch screen. Both phones will be running on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat.
Both devices are scheduled to be officially launched on March 29 in New York. Rumor has it that the pre-order date will start on the 10th of April. However, based on recent reports, the official release date has been moved by a week. Instead of the purported April 21 release, it will now be on the 28th of the same month.
